THAI YOGA (nuad boran)
Thai yoga sessions bring deep rest & gentle yoga movements into a profound healing system, leaving you feeling nourished, relaxed, and filled with energy. According to Ayurvedic science, there is an extensive network of energy lines running throughout the body. It is through the massaging and stretching of this network of energy lines that Thai yoga releases tension. By allowing energy to flow more freely, the massage works to alleviate problematic conditions such as lower back pain, arthritis, headaches, digestive difficulties, menstrual problems, and stress-related conditions. Promoting this free flow of energy also works to restore balance and create a deep state of relaxation and well-being for both the client and practitioner.
Thai yoga is done on a mat on the floor to support body movement, and unlike traditional western massages, the recipient is fully clothed in moveable clothing. Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing, such as work out wear and pants with elastic waistbands.
Those new to Thai yoga may also choose a one-hour session for $75. This offer is valid only one time for new clients only.
Ayurvedic Thai yoga session
In these sessions we take the time to consider your dosha (your constitution according to the science of Ayurveda) and then apply that knowledge to your Thai yoga. Sessions are approximately 75 minutes.
